Like most other firearms on the American market from this time period, the Colt 1908 Vest Pocket Hammerless was designed by John Browning. This little .25 ACP (also Browning’s invention) was designed for deep concealment in jackets, bags, and obviously vest pockets. This style of pistol was quite popular during the first half of the 20th century but eventually was replaced by more modern alternatives. This pistol makes a great collector piece for fans of Colt and/or John Browning.
